ICAIRE content policy

ICAIRE (the International Center for AI Research & Ethics, under the auspices of UNESCO) publishes research, explainers, and programme materials in the public interest. This content policy sets out the standards that all material on the platform is expected to meet.

It applies to editorial content, contributor submissions, and any resource surfaced through ICAIRE’s public knowledge center and AI Radar.

Content published or referenced on ICAIRE should advance responsible, ethical, and well-evidenced understanding of artificial intelligence.

Contributors draft and submit material through the ICAIRE content management system. Editors review submissions against these standards before anything is published.

By submitting content, contributors confirm they hold the necessary rights and that their material may be edited for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with ICAIRE’s mission.

ICAIRE reserves the right to edit, decline, or remove content that does not meet these standards. Where content is corrected or withdrawn, we aim to be transparent about the reason.

Concerns about published material can be raised with the ICAIRE editorial team, who will assess and respond in line with this policy.

Public ICAIRE resources are shared to broaden access to responsible-AI knowledge. Where reuse is permitted, appropriate attribution to ICAIRE and any original authors is expected.

Third-party material referenced through the platform remains the property of its respective owners.
