About ICAIRE
A public institution helping governments, academia, and industry understand, govern, and apply AI in ways that are ethical, transparent, and grounded in the public interest.
01 · Why we exist
ICAIRE works with governments, universities, and industry to build the capability, evidence, and shared language that responsible AI needs, so that the benefits reach the widest possible public and the risks are understood before they are inherited.
02 · Who stands behind it
The center anchors its programmes in the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, upholding internationally recognised principles of human rights, fairness, transparency, and accountability across everything it researches, teaches, and convenes.
